Fanfare, Fine Dining & a White Red Party

For a leading global player in insurance and risk management, we built a night in the heart of Brussels that opened with a brass band in the entrance hall and closed with a dance floor that only emptied out long after the night had passed its peak. Two hundred and fifty guests, one of the city's finest venues, and a programme that knew exactly when to impress, when to move people, and when to simply let go.

Welcome: Fanfare, Champagne, and 250 Faces Who Had No Idea What Was Coming

No quiet arrival with a glass of cava at a side table. Guests walked straight into a full brass band — horns, drums, and enough energy to pull everyone out of "still-half-at-the-office" mode in seconds. Champagne was in hand before coats were even off, and the decor did the rest of the work: this wasn't an entrance hall anymore, it was an announcement that this would be no ordinary corporate evening. By the time the last guests were in, the room already had the kind of energy you'd normally expect after the starter, not before it.

Dinner: Fine Dining, on the Move

Instead of seating 250 people at round tables for a classic sit-down dinner, the meal moved through the room with them. A walking dinner, but built to fine-dining standards — plates with as much craft behind them as a tasting menu, minus the part where everyone stays glued to their chair all night. Right on cue, between two courses, the CEO took the floor — not the obligatory item everyone waits out, but a speech that fit the evening's rhythm instead of interrupting it. Then dinner carried on, and so did the conversation.

Flying Wishes: A Thousand Wishes Into the Air

Somewhere between dinner and the party sat the moment nobody had seen coming, and the one everyone remembered most afterward. Every guest wrote a wish for a colleague — not for themselves — and tied it to a balloon. Moments later, all of it rose together: two hundred and fifty wishes, two hundred and fifty colleagues thinking of each other instead of themselves, all at once above a single courtyard. The kind of moment you can't force with a speech, but that does exactly what a speech is usually trying to achieve.

White Red Party: From Live Band to DJ, Deep Into the Night

From there, the evening flipped completely. White Red Party, and that was no understatement — white and red everywhere, from the dress code to the lighting to the last decorative detail. A live band opened up the dance floor — saxophone, a singer who had even the most hesitant guests moving within two songs, and enough drive to carry the energy of dinner straight into the party. When the band wrapped up, the DJ took over, and stayed on. Nobody was checking their watch anymore. Nobody needed to.

Why It Worked

Because no single part of the night stood on its own. The fanfare set the tone, the dinner kept the standard high without slowing the night down, the wishes gave the evening a heart, and the party gave everyone a reason to stay for hours more. Not a loose "and now for something fun" bolted on at the end, but one night that kept building from the first step inside to the last dance. Two hundred and fifty guests who didn't go home with the memory of one moment, but of an entire night.

Dare to be bold. Because safe is already forgotten.
