The Retail Fair is a yearly benchmark for the sector. Store owners, buyers and brand teams come together to discover innovation, share trends and strengthen commercial relationships. One day in the year where inspiration and business meet in a very tangible way.
Just like last year, way2events handled the full organisation and delivery of this large-scale event — from the first concept note to the final finished stand. And for the 2026 edition, we pushed it one step further: scaling the concept up again, while keeping quality, experience and commercial impact fully intact.
Twice as many stands. And still: a floor plan that flows.
The exhibition floor expanded significantly: twice as many stands meant twice as many brands, products and stories. Logistically and creatively, that’s a serious challenge — but above all, it was an opportunity to amplify the energy of the fair.
Twice as much of everything. More to discover, more conversations, more momentum.
And at the same time: a well-thought-out layout that helped visitors move smoothly from stand to stand, with a sense of discovery instead of overcrowding.
Refrigerated display counters: technical complexity, executed invisibly
One extra challenge this year: integrating professional refrigerated display counters across the floor. Cooling requires stability — power, ventilation, correct positioning and precise timing. In a temporary build, that’s anything but straightforward.
way2events coordinated the full technical integration from A to Z — together with a strong team of specialised partners on site — so chilled products were presented perfectly, without visitors noticing any of the complexity behind the scenes. Exactly as it should be.
BeMatrix stand build: consistent structure, unique execution
For the first time, we worked with a modular BeMatrix system, giving exhibitors the freedom to carry their identity through clearly. Through a structured request process, participants provided branding, materials and layout preferences in advance. We then translated everything into one cohesive exhibition environment — without it ever feeling generic.
The result: stands that were functional, yet still felt like a true extension of each brand.
iPad ordering system: from inspiration to immediate action
The biggest innovation this edition was the integrated iPad ordering system on the exhibition floor. Visitors could view products, compare options and place orders on the spot — without paperwork or delays.
It made the fair not only inspiring, but also clearly sales-driven:
• exhibitors received direct feedback and real-time results
• visitors experienced a smooth, modern buying flow
• the step from interest to action disappeared
Scaling up without losing the atmosphere
More stands, more technology, more personalisation — and still the experience remained intact. That’s what we aim for: growth you feel in impact, not in chaos. Every added element was carefully integrated so the fair kept its warm, winter-like atmosphere.
