In the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels hangs The Fall of Icarus, one of the most famous canvases by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. In a small corner of it we can just see the floundering legs of the headstrong son, who abused his father Daedelus' invention and ignored his warnings. After Sindbad and Orfeo & Majnun are all strong community projects realized by and for young people, with this environmental opera Howard Moody touches again on a burning topical theme: environmental awareness and respect for nature.
