For the first time ever, the Davis Cup tennis tournament was organised in Middelkerke…
And it was ace!
Way2events helped organise the event, and could witness all the excitement from up close.
Our Belgian men’s team was already on a winning streak. Steve Darcis and David Goffin have been the unofficial team leaders for a while now;
the latter now even holds a Belgian record place in the world ranking!
And also the performance of Niels Desein, Ruben Bemelmans and Kimmer Coppejans make us dream of a bright and victorious future.
Middelkerke soon proved to be an excellent venue for the Quarterfinal Belgium – Canada.
Way2events, being the official hospitality partner of the event, was responsible for creating and commercializing hospitality packages.
We were delighted to see the crowd figures up to 90% of the venue’s capacity,
with a bit of help of the favorable weather conditions and the solid performance of the Belgian players,
of course!
